Told our ancestors about liberty, independence, government, the manner of selecting a leader and their authority. These states of being and birth rights, the crane told our ancestors, were exemplified in the conduct of birds, animals and insects. Men and women were but to observe their co-tenants to appreciate the practice and limits of the exercise of mastery of self and authority.
