If you’ve got a ticket for the figure skating events of the 2010 Olympics, make sure you gaze at a connection to Muskoka greeting you at the entrance to Vancouver’s Pacific Coliseum.
Work by Bala cottager and Ojibwa artist Donald Chretien will be on display there for the world to see.
Chretien has been selected as a participating artist in the Vancouver 2010 Venues’ Aboriginal Arts Program. It’s a tribute to his artistry as his original mural is one of 30 works to grace the 15 Olympic and Paralympic venues.
